Tokenization Pilot

From classic to digital: the future of investing

Imagine a unique work of art, a valuable violin, or a remarkable real estate project not just owned by a few, but accessible to a wider group of investors. This is possible thanks to tokenization : the process of converting a physical or traditional asset into a digital token on the blockchain.

At Devoto, we wanted to know: how do you make something like this possible within the realities of Europe, with its strict regulations and fiscal frameworks? Instead of launching a large fund right away, we started with a pilot : an exploration of what was technically, legally, and fiscally feasible.

We delved into European regulations (such as MiCA and the DLT Pilot Regime), spoke with technology partners and investigated how a token is not just a digital symbol, but can also actually represent rights to the underlying asset.

The result is not a finished fund, but a proof of concept : a blueprint that shows that traditional investments can be made digitally accessible, transparent and scalable in the future – while maintaining legal and fiscal certainty.

For us, this pilot project confirms one thing: the future of investing lies at the intersection of tradition and innovation.
